There are approx. 21,000 mentally challenged, C.P., Autism, Multiple Disabled children in Rajkot District. The "Aekrang Children's Development Institute" has taken-up the attention task of Multiple Disabled Girls Up-liftment.
It is an initiative of Aekrang institution that the society should truly accept and sympathize with such children and train them with positive efforts to lead towards self-reliance and lead a self-respecting life.
This can only be achieved with the valuable support cooperation and blessings of the society as well as all the sects, there is no doubt that the indomitable spirit of teamwork and dedication of our members have brought us more effective development oriented results.
The word mentally handicapped creates misunderstanding and hate. Sometimes people don’t understand or ignore this situation.

Shri Deepika Kamlesh Prajapati, founder of Aekrang Institute, is a person with a unique dream and a soft heart in today's fast paced world.
For the past 14 years, he has been running an organization called “Aekrang”, taking care of more than 125 intellectual disabled and multiple and multiple disabled girls and imparting holistic developmental training to them.

According to the current survey and need, She observed that developmental problems in children are increasing and especially in Rajkot city there are very few and no developmental centers providing quality services and she observed that developmental problems are increasing in young children and very few places for their treatment. So he has undertaken the task of making the best development center of Rajkot city.
